In one of the boldest political moves ever, John McCain suspends his campaign to return to Washington to help work out the financial crisis our Nation is going through. Not only is he suspending his Presidential Campaign, but he has called upon Barack Obama to do the same as well. He has also requested that the debate scheduled for Friday night be postponed.
This is highly admirable of Senator McCain as he realizes that his primary job at this time is not to run for President of the United States, but to serve as a Senator in Washington. It is my hope that Senator Obama, sees that it is the right thing to do to agree with McCain, and return to Washington to help out in this time of great need.
This is one move to prove that John McCain is really about “Country First” and is willing to put aside his own political ambitions for the good of the country. Let us take note, that this man, is willing to do what it takes, even if it destroys his political goals, to help America.
