53 days away from Election Tuesday, and the poles are closer than ever. However, we have seen some sliding in the Obama polls and strength in the McCain Polls. According to a NewsWeek Poll, the candidates are right even with each other.

There are also reports of Obama falling back in the state of Florida, where he had a stronghold. Some (myself included) definitely think that all the news and hype about Governor Sarah Palin, have lit a spark under the McCain Campaign.

People will favor who the media scrutinizes for no reason. With attacks on Palin’s family, and overexposure of “discovering Palin” McCain has no where to go, but to keep going up.

Obama is also gaining strength among his support base going from 61% to 67% of supporters who say they “Strongly Support”, according to NewsWeek.

This may shape up to be as close as the 2000 Bush vs. Gore election.
